India recorded over 24,248 new COVID-19 cases & 425 deaths in last 24 hours

NEW DELHI: India on Monday recorded over 24,248 new COVID-19 cases and 425 deaths in the last 24 hours. Now the country's tally is 6,97,413 and the toll to 19,693 surpassing Russia to become the country with the third highest coronavirus cases.

Altogether 4,24,432 persons have recovered while 2,53,287 are active cases, data of Health Ministry said. (Agencies)
