The Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW) has invited nominations for the National Bravery Awards for Children, 2022. The willing candidates (or their guardians) can get the application form from the ICCW headquarters office or download it from ICCW's website. The age of the applicants should be from 6-18 years. Two competent authorities need to recommend the application form. The application form should have a write-up about the deed performed by the child applicant, proof of date of birth, newspaper/magazine clippings, or the FIR or police dairy report filed with the police station. The two competent authorities need to endorse the account of the deed or incident and the supporting documents.

Authorities (at least two) who can recommend the application form are – the principal/headmaster of the educational institutions where the child is studying, head of panchayat/Zila Parishad, president or general secretary of the State Council for Child Welfare, District Magistrate or official of his equivalent rank, SP or his higher official.

The incident or the deed should occur between July 1, 2021, and September 30, 2022. The last date of application is October 15, 2022.
