Information about Early Stage of Leprosy

Do you or anyone you know have skin patches with no sensation, weakness in hands or legs, loss of sensation on palms and soles, and difficulty in closing eyes? Report these cases to a government health facility for diagnosis. You can contact ASHA, an ASHA supervisor, any health worker, a CHO, or a medical officer for a referral of a suspected case. You can also call 104 or 108. NHM (National Health Mission), Assam, has issued this appeal under the headline ‘Let’s fight leprosy and make leprosy a history.’
