Information About Registration in employment exchange

If you’re an unemployed youth, get your name registered in your nearest employment exchange office. You will get a prescribed form in the office on demand. You will have to fill it up and meet the particulars sought.

The particulars are –three copies of your self-attested photo, a document that can prove your residency (HSLC admit card or certificate can serve the purpose), certificate showing your educational qualification, work experience, if any (to be backed by certificate/certificates), caste certificate (if you belong to any reserved category), etc. No fee is required for registration.

If everything goes as usual, your name will be registered by the employment exchange office within a day.

Apart from jobs, registration in employment exchange office is a must for loans, receiving rehabilitation package from the government, benefitting under self-employment grants etc. The entire process is done offline.
