Do you want to have a brainchild of your own in the creation of job avenues? If you've any idea on job generation, share it with 'Udyam Assam', a programme under the Department of Industries and Commerce for providing job avenues to youths who have returned to the State during the corona pandemic.
Through this programme, the Department seeks ideas in the field of job generation from skilled youths who have returned to the State, for their rehabilitation.
The selected ideas will be incubated virtually for three months. Experts of IIM CIP (Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta Innovation Park) will give suggestions on the ideas after a brainstorming on them. Each of the selected ideas will be allotted Rs 5-lakh proof-of-concept (POC) grant. New innovations, commercial opportunities and social impact of the ideas will get preference. A total of 25-50 new ideas will be selected as new business concepts.
For details, including application, one has to logon to http://startup.assam.gov.in/. The last date of receiving idea through application is August 31, 2020.
