Japanese Speaker Fukushiro Nukaga to Visit Guwahati on Three-Day Tour

Guwahati: Fukushiro Nukaga, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, will arrive in Guwahati on Saturday on a three-day visit. Nukaga will lead a Japanese delegation. On the first day of his Assam visit, the state government will organise an event in his honour at the Assam Legislative Assembly. Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary, among other dignitaries, will attend the event. Fukushiro Nukaga will visit IIT Guwahati and the under-construction semiconductor plant at Jagiroad during his stay here.
