Madrassa dismantled in Barpeta district for jihadi link
The Barpeta District Administration dismantled a madrasa – Jamiul Huda Islamic Academy – located at Dhakaliapara in the Barpeta district today for its involvement in jihadi activities.

BARPETA: The Barpeta District Administration dismantled a madrasa – Jamiul Huda Islamic Academy – located at Dhakaliapara in the Barpeta district today for its involvement in jihadi activities.
According to ADC (law and order) Lachit Kumar Das, since 2019, Mohammad Suman, an Al Qaeda member, has been carrying out jihadi activities as a teacher. Under the supervision of Mohammad Suman, this madrasa became the epicentre of jihadi activities, the ADC said.
All these came to light after Mohammed Suman, madrassa principal Mamudul Rashid and another teacher Abbas Ali fell into the trap of the police.
