Major Reshuffle in Assam Government Bureaucrats

GUWAHATI: In a major bureaucratic shake-up, the State Government posted and transferred Additional Chief Secretary to Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and Fishery Departments, Agricultural Production Commissioner, MMSCMSGUY CEO Ravi Shankar Prasad as Additional Chief Secretary to Environment & Forest Department and Director General, Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara as additional charge, Ravi Shankar Prasad , lAS RR-1990), Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Agriculture Department and State Project Director, ARIAS Society is also posted as Agricultural Production Commissioner, Assam and Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department as additional charge.

Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Environment & Forest, Revenue & DM Department, Assam and AddI. Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi is relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Environment & Forest Department.

Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi is also posted as Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Labour Welfare Department as additional charge.

Dr lB. Ekka, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development, Tea Tribes Welfare and Labour Welfare Departments is relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Labour Welfare Department.

Dr Siddharth Singh, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Health & FW and Sports & YW Departments is also posted as MD, Atal Amrit Abhiyan as additional charge.

Rakesh Kumar, MD, APDCL and Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Fishery and Irrigation Departments is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Irrigation Department.

Kavitha Padmanabhan, Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Housing & Urban Affairs and Irrigation Departments.

Biswajit Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro) is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Dibrugarh.

Binita Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Charaideo is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes Department.

Prabhati Thaosen, Deputy Commissioner, Darrang is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Border Protection & Development and Tourism Departments.

Pallav Gopal Jha, Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro).

Paul Barua, Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Charaideo.

Khageswar Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, General Administration Department.

Pranab Kumar Sarmah, Deputy Commissioner, Biswanath is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Darrang.

Nazreen Ahmed, Director, Financial Inspection and Additional Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao.

Deba Kumar Mishra, PPS to Chief Minister & MD, Assam Tourism Development Corporation is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Biswanath.

Hivare Nisarg Gautam, Deputy Commissioner, South Salmara is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon.

Pallavi Sarkar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, South Salmara.

Dibakar Nath, Additional Deputy Commissioner, I/c Bijni is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Karbi Anglong w.e.f 1-12-2021 vice Ng Chandra Dhwaj Singha, retiring on 30-11-2021.

Mridul Yadav, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, PHE Department & Joint Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Karimganj.

Krishna Baruah, Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes Department is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Karbi Anglong w.e.f. 1-12-2021 vice Utpala Saikia, ACS retiring on 30-11-2021.

Prasanta Pratim Kathkatia, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup is transferred and posted as PPS to the Chief Minister.

Masanda Magdalin Pertin Sub Divisional Officer (Sadar), Dibrugarh is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy (Commissioner of Gossaigaon with effect from December 1, 2021 vide Rahul Kumar Gupta.

Rahul Kumar Gupta, Sub Divisional Officer Civil, Gossaigaon is transferred and posted as Sub Divisional Officer, Bijni with effect from December 1, 2021 vide Dihakar Nath.

Sarmistha Borah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro) is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, Home Department.

Vivek Shyan Pangyok, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, a press release said.
