Manipur University professors handcuffed

IMPHAL, Oct 14: Jail officials on Sunday brought six Manipur University professors for medical check-up from the Imphal Central Jail in handcuffs, triggering condemnation. The Manipur University Teachers Association, the Manipur University Students Union and the Manipur University Staff Association condemned the police for heaping humiliation on the professors. (IANS)
