MCC 'Violation: ECI seeks explanation from Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI: The Election Commission of India (EC) has sought an explanation from State Cabinet Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma for his alleged threat to BPF president Hagrama Mohilary that he (Sarma) would "send the latter to jail by misusing the Central Agency NIA".
