My mother guided me: Commerce topper Sagar Agarwal

SILCHAR: Amid the devastating deluge, the HS final exam, 2022 results declared today brought a moment of happiness and pride for flood-ravaged Silchar. Sagar Agarwal of Vivekananda Commerce College topped the Commerce stream with 482 aggregate marks.

Sagar Agarwal said he was quite surprised to see his name at the top of the list. "I did not take any private tuition as my mother used to guide me," a jubilant Sagar said. He expressed his gratitude to the teachers of Vivekananda Commerce College.

Meanwhile, Daibik Deb of Ramanuj Gupta Senior Secondary School secured the sixth position in the Arts stream. In Cachar, total 7,054 students appeared in the Arts stream out of which 4,521 passed. The pass percentage in Arts is 64.09 per cent. In Science stream, 1,252 out of 1,364 students passed with 91.89 pass percentage. Out of 865 students who appeared, a total of 753 students passed in the Commerce stream.

Karimganj registered pass percentage of 83.89 per cent in Arts, 92.14 per cent in Science and 83.96 per cent in Commerce.
