National talent search examination, 2021-22

The receipt of applications for the National Talent Search (NTS) Examination, 2021-22, will continue till October 30, 2021. Sponsored by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Human Resources Development Ministry conducts this examination annually for class X students.

A student qualifying for this examination gets Rs 1,250 per month from class XI-XII and Rs 2,000 per month from undergraduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG) courses. The scholarship amount for PhD students is as per UGC (University Grant Commission) norms.

The total quota of this scholarship for Assam is 200.

How to apply: Students of Class X studying in Government schools, local body-run schools, government-aided schools, private schools etc., should download Bidyarthi App from Google Play Store and apply online or log on to www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in.

You need to furnish the relevant certificates if you belong to any of the following categories – Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC and differently-abled.
