NHM Assam conducting free special Ante-Natal checkup till December 6

Assam National Health Mission (NHM) is conducting a special Ante-Natal Checkup (ANC) drive in all districts since November 7, 2022. As part of NHM's commitment to reducing MMR (maternal mortality rate), the drive will conclude on December 6.

The drive offers history taking, general examination of pregnant women, abdominal examination, laboratory test, medications, micro-birth plan, counselling, tuberculosis screening and generation of Ayushman Bharat Health checkup.

The drive also offers extra free checkups in pregnant women's nearest health facility. For details, one can contact a local ASHA worker or ANM.
