NOTA Option Will Be Available During Assam Assembly Polls

NOTA Option in Assam Assembly Election: Voters can use the option of 'NOTA' (None Of The Above) also during the forthcoming Assembly polls. The 'NOTA' key will be the last option on the EVM (Electronic Voting Machine). Mentionably, a total of 1,89,065 NOTA votes were registered in the 2016 Assembly polls. This option can be used if the voter concerned does not wish to cast his vote in favour of any of the listed candidates on the EVM.
