PM Narendra Modi arriving today in Assam to launch several infrastructure projects

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that he will be visiting Assam on Sunday to launch several infrastructure projects.
Giving details of the PM's visit to the State on Sunday, State Finance MInister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "The Prime Minister will address a public meeting at Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district. Before the meeting, he will launch the 'Asom Mala' programme, which will boost the State's road infrastructure. This initiative will contribute to Assam's economic progress and improve connectivity.
"Besides, he will also lay the foundation stones of two more medical colleges proposed in Chariadeo and Biswanath districts."
