State Budget presents by FM Ajanta Neog has mixed reaction from Opposition

GUWAHATI: The State Budget-2021 presented by Finance Minister Ajanta Neog has received a mixed reaction from the Opposition.

Leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia has stated that the Budget doesn't include measures to develop the State.

"The budget expenditure will be more than the receipt and capital revenues which will affect the State's economy. The Budget is beneficiary-oriented and doesn't focus on the developmental issues," said Saikia.

AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) general secretary Aminul Islam said, "The Budget doesn't have any provision to recover the State economically. The Budget has reduced the allocation for minority development."
