
The Assam Government has sought applications from minority girl students for a stipend for the academic session 2020-21 at the rate of yearly Rs 2,000 for per class X student and Rs 4,000 for that of classes XI and XII. The authority will receive applications for this purpose till November 25, 2021.
The conditions meant for this scheme are – (i) the applicant should belong to a minority community, (ii) should read either in class X or in XI or XII in 2020-21, (iii) the applicants should hail from any government, provincialized, non-provincialized, government-affiliated or any private school or college and (iii) the applicants should have Aadhaard cards. Not more than two candidates can apply from the same family.
The girl students can apply through www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in, or the applicants can download the bidyarthi mobile App from Google Play Store, and apply.
The applicants should have their own savings accounts. They need to upload the first page of the bank account. An application should have a declaration from the head of the institution concerned and her signed photo.
Applicants fulfilling all the conditions cited above will get the amounts deposited in their respective bank accounts by March 2022.
The applicants are at liberty to apply for other schemes also.
