Students of Dakshin Jarbagan LP School in Nagaon Fall Ill From Food Poisoning

NAGAON: Over 200 students of Dakshin Jarbagan LP School of Kampur Kochuwa in the Nagaon district fell ill after taking a mid-day meal in the school today. The victim children were immediately admitted to Singimari State Hospital.

But when the health condition of the children deteriorated rapidly, they were later brought to Nagaon Medical College Hospital late this afternoon, sources said. Medical experts said that the incident happened because of the mingling of phenyl in the midday meal. But the school head as well as the cooking staff expressed ignorance about it.
