Survey Shows 43% People of Assam are Satisfied with CM Sarbananda Sonowal

GUWAHATI, Jan 17: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has figured among the most popular Chief Ministers of the country. Ahead of the forthcoming Assembly election, in a major boost to the Chief Minister, a survey conducted by ABP News along with C-Voter showed that 43 per cent people of the State were satisfied with the functioning of the CM.

Chief Minister Sonowal has been carrying out his unrelenting fight against corruption to bring about more transparency in the administration thus leading the State to a higher growth trajectory.

In the popularity rating, Chief Minister Sonowal has surpassed several CMs of the NDA-ruled States including Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Karnataka CM B.S. Yediyurappa, Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar. (Agencies)
