Two members appointed in NEC

New Delhi, July 1: Chandra Kanta Das, a retired IAS officer, and Prof Gangmumei Kamei, a distinguished academician, author and public activist, have been appointed as members of the North Eastern Council (NEC). They will function as full time non-official members from the NEC headquarters at Shillong. They replace former members Ashoke K. Dutta and MP Bezbaruah.
