Like Assam, the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Tripura has been worsening by the day. As per the latest reports, the tiny North-eastern state which borders with Bangladesh has reported 88 new coronavirus positive cases so far. Revealing this Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, on Thursday tweeted, " 21 BSF persons from 86th Battalion found COVID positive. Total COVID-19 positive patients in Tripura now stands at 88 with active cases 86 and two discharged cases." However, no new civilian has tested positive for the dreaded virus, the Chief Minister added.
