3 Day Old Baby Left to Die Under a Bridge in Assam

In an extremely unfortunate incident, a new-born male baby was found dead under a bridge in Dalgaon, Darrang District of Assam. According to the hospital tag, the baby weighing 2.8 kgs was born on February 2. Locals of the area found the body on February 5. The locals called the police who promptly reached the site and took the dead baby for post-mortem. Further investigation into the matter is on. The incident has sent a chill down the spine of the locals as this is the for the first time that such a sad, unfortunate thing has happened in the area. The locals have sought a proper investigation so that the guilty is punished.
