852 Death Anniversary of Vaishnav Saint Srimanta Sankardev, Assam Offers Prayers

Today is the 852 death anniversary of Assam's Vaishnavite Saint Srimanta Sankardev. Naam-Kirtan (prayers) will be offered in Naam Ghars (Vaishnavite temples) across the state. Assam BJP President Ranjit Das offered prayers at the Dispur Naam Ghar today morning.
