Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal visits Sonitpur, reviews COVID-19 situation

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday visited Sonitpur district and held a review meeting with Sonitpur and Biswanath district administration.

He sought support and cooperation from the public in successfully managing the COVID situation and assuring that all necessary steps like increasing tests, providing vaccines, stocking oxygen cylinders, etc have been taken.

He also criticized the opposition party while addressing the media.

Regarding abducted oil employee Ritul Saikia, Sonowal said that search operations are underway by Assam Rifles, Army and Assam police.
