Assam Polls 2021: Eco- friendly Model Polling Stations set up in Cachar

Elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure seamless voting as 73.44 lakh voters are set to cast their ballots in 39 constituencies across 13 districts of Assam.

The Election Commission has set up eco-friendly model polling stations in Cachar which is made of all recyclable material.

These model polling stations are also showing the cultural legacy of the district through the display of handicrafts and handlooms.

Saplings were gifted to the first-time voters, senior citizens, and PWD voters. The gateway was decorated by self-help group's women.
