Assam Schools Still Operating as Quarantine Centres

The Assam education department has asked schools to re-open

The Assam education department has asked schools to re-open for classes 9-12 from September 21. But even after a week, several schools of Assam have not been able to follow the Government's directive. One such school is the Moran Higher Secondary School. The school is being used as a quarantine centre and is now also being used as the centre for Rapid Antigen tests. Despite repeated requests being made to the district authorities to sanitise the school and remove the quarantine and testing facilties from the school, nothing has happened so far. Principal of the school is now making efforts on his own.
