Baby Elephant Dies While Crossing River, Herd Stands Guard

A baby elephant lost its life while trying to cross the Kapili river in Assam's Karbi Anglong area. The herd of wild elephant was guarding the dead baby elephant. In fact an elephant acme surging at bystanders. It is only when the herd left the spot, forest officials and locals could reach the dead baby elephant and remove it.
