There are a lot of miss information, wrong information about what to eat or not eat, what to drink or not drink, food that might keep you safe from COVID are doing the rounds. Social media, WhatsApp groups in particular are flooded with such messages. What's worse, people are also spreading half-baked or wrong information about COVID vaccines and medicines, things that might be fatal. Recently, the IT Ministry had asked the social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram to take down 100 social media posts and URLs accused of spreading misinformation about Covid19. Some of the accounts were blocked for spreading old and out of context pictures.

In such a scenario, the Union Health Ministry backed by a battery of doctors and experts have done a fact check for most of the wrong info that has been spread so far. Here is the list
