Drugs Worth Rs 5 Cr Seized, Three Arrested

Drugs worth Rs 5 crore was seized from the Dimapur-Manja road in Karbi Anglong district of Assam. The recovery took place during one of the routine search operations done by the Manja Police. Three people have been caught transporting the drugs. Police recovered 863 gms of suspected brown sugar (68 soap boxes), and 14,625 YABA tablets. These are banned products under the NDPS Act. The arrested people are from Thoubal district of Manipur, police informed.
