Gorkha Community of Assam Celebrates Magh Bihu

Magh Bihu is being celebrated across Assam across tribes and communities. The Gorkha community of Digboi celebrated Magh Bihu with a lot of enthusiasm along with the Assamese people of the oil township. People from the Gorkha community of Lakkhipathar in Digboi have celebrated the post-harvest festival. They began the celebration from Thursday morning by lighting up of Meji following their rituals in the presence of eminent personalities of the village.
