Head on collision between a passenger vehicle and goods carrying vehicle at Digboi

A road accident took place on Tuesday early morning at Digboi in Tinsukia district when a passenger vehicle collided head-on with a goods carrying vehicle.

As per reports, the passenger vehicle was coming from Guwahati and the goods vehicle was coming from the Margherita side.

Several passengers were injured including the passenger vehicle's driver and the goods carrying vehicle's driver. They were immediately taken to the civil hospital.

Speaking to the media, a person said, "A serious road accident took place at Digboi in the early morning. The passenger vehicle was coming from Guwahati and the goods carrying vehicle was coming from Margherita. Several passengers were injured. They were taken to the hospital."

Police is investigating the matter.
