Horrific Ragging Incident In Dibrugarh University

MCom 1st Sem student jumps from building to 'escape ragging'. Anand Sharma jumps from two-storied building. Student admitted to hospital, in ICU. Victim's mother makes serious allegations states that her son was tortured throughout the day.

FIR lodged at Dibrugarh Police Station. Mother has named 5 students for allegedly ragging her son four current students of University, 1 ex-student. VC Dr. Jiten Hazarika: We are inquiring into the matter '…. going to take strict action against the culprits'. University authorities have rusticated 18 students for their alleged involvement in the brutal ragging incident. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma tweets on incident.
