Mask Distribution Drive in Digboi and Sorbhog

Margherita administration conducted a mask distribution drive on Sunday at Digboi in the Tinsukia district.

They provided mask to the people including whom were not wearing masks. The administration also conducted awareness drives on the importance of wearing masks due to Covid 19.

Margherita administration Magistrate Abhijit Gogoi, Election official Tridip Konwar and several officials also took part in the distribution drive.

Speaking to the media, an official said, "We have conducted the mask distribution drive in the initiative of Margherita administration at Digboi. We request people to wear masks and maintain social distance. We have conducted the drive for awareness on the importance of masks."

Similarly, Barnagar Regional Students' Union conducted a mask distribution drive on Sunday at Sorbhog in the Barperta district.

Barnagar Regional Students' Union initiated the distribution drive to create awareness among the people on the importance of wearing masks.

Speaking to the media, Barnagar Regional Students' Union member said, "Barnagar Regional Students' Union initiates the mask distribution drive to create awareness among the people. We have distributed masks at Sorbhog market and various places. We request people to wear masks and follow Covid-19 protocols."
