Moran local administration initiates COVID testing drive in market places

Moran local administration on Tuesday initiated COVID-19 testing drive in market places of Moran under the Dibrugarh district.

In Moran 377 people tested Covid positive so far.

The health department tested shopkeepers of every market places in Moran area. Moran circle officer, Lukumoni Bora was also present at the testing drive.

Speaking to the media, Circle officer Lukumoni Bora said, "Due to rising number of COVID cases, Moran local administration has taken the initiative. The health department have tested shopkeepers of every market."

As per official data, Dibrugarh district reported 460 active casses on May 3. Total 2,385 people were infected for the virus in the district.
