Municipal Workers: Over 2 Years Still No Wages

The All Assam Municipal Workers Union has embarked on a 10 day protest demanding higher wages, regularization of jobs and payment of salaries for the workers which has been pending for over two years. Some workers have not got salary for three months while some are waiting for their salaries for over 27 months. They sat on dharna outside the Biswanath municipal corporation office.
