Prime Locations of Guwahati Under Water; Minister Reviews Situation

Prime locations of Guwahati like Uzan Bazar, almost on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra are facing water logging and flooding problems. Not just roads which are under water, most houses in the area has water inside their houses. Assam Guwahati Development Department Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya visited the areas to take stock. He directed the authorities to immediately start drain declogging and garbage clearing work to avoid further water logging.
