Rajiv Gandhi Killers Released by Supreme Court

All convicts of Rajiv Gandhi assassination granted freedom. LTTE Suicide bomber Thenmozhi Rajaratnam killed the PM . Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu's capital on May 21, 1991. Several security personnel and bystanders were killed.. One convict named A. G. Perarivalan was released in May . Remaining 6 were released today. Murugan, Nalini, Santhan, Robert Pious, Jayakumar, Ravichandran. Initial death sentence was reduced to life imprisonment
