Robbery in broad daylight at Kochgaon in Biswanath Chariali

Two houses were robbed in broad daylight at Kochgaon in Biswanath town in Sonitpur district of Assam on Friday

The robberies took place around 11AM when no one was present in both the rented houses of Bipul Bhuyan

Robbers entered the house of Nipen Sarkar, a tenant of Bipul Bhuyan, and stole Rs 5 lakh in cash and gold jewellery from the house of Krishna Sutradhar, another nearby tenant

Biswanath police are currently investigating the robbery
