Rongali Bihu preparation in full swing at Naharkatiya

Preparations are in full swing to celebrate the festival of Rongali Bihu. Chasani Amguri village of Naharkatiya is preparing for the celebration of Rongali Bihu with full enthusiasm and joy.

A group of women were seen singing songs and dancing Bihu dance, weavers are busy weaving the traditional Gamocha, some women were busy making Assamese 'Pitha'.

A 60 above old lady was seen singing Bihu song and dancing with full joy.

Speaking to the media, the old lady said, "I am making 'pitha', 'komal saul' etc for Rongali Bihu. I feel very happy because Bihu is coming."

A weaver said, "We are busy weaving traditional Gamocha. Preparations are in full swing to celebrate the Bihu this time. We hope this time we will celebrate Bihu with joy."
