Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team will thrill Guwahati

The Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team (SKAT) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will paint the skies of Guwahati with rainbow colors and thrill the crowds at Lachit Ghat with their daredevilry hundreds of meters up in the sky.

The aerobatics team of the IAF was formed in 1996 and is a part of the 52nd Squadron of the Air Force. The team has since performed numerous demonstrations usually with nine aircraft.

The air shows are held primarily with the aim to motivate youth and display the flying skills of the ace pilots of the Air Force
