Two African monkeys, one alligator seized in Mizoram

Three wildlife of foreign species were seized by Mizoram police while being smuggled. Police seized the rare animals at Saifai in Kolasib district on Assam- Mizoram border. Two Colobus monkeys and one alligator were recovered. Animals worth more than 0ne crore rescued from a vehicle. Driver Jakir Hussain Borbhuyan of Cachar district held on smuggling charge
