Sildubi High School in Kheroni was damaged by a herd of elephants. They took down brick walls and caused damage to school property. Thought to have come in search of food, these elephants completely destroyed the school's kitchen. Consumed the rice and other items stocked for midday meals. Locals living in the constant fear of their lives after nightfall. Several complaints have been sent to the forest department. Apparently proper action not taken by authorities in this regard
