The richest pet of all time is a German Shepherd named Gunther IV who is living a luxurious life in Germany. When his owner Countess Karlotta Lieberstein of Germany died, she bequeathed her entire fortune - estimated $372 million at the time - to Gunther III, her faithful dog, father of number four. As the estate officials made good investments, his descendant, Gunther IV, was given an inheritance of $375 million. Gunther IV is the owner of a villa in the Bahamas and a mansion in Miami where Madonna used to live.
