Sep 7, 2022
Rajat Bedi
Remember the badass Bollywood villain who would try stealing the hero's girl or at least always make sure that he is in trouble? Well, the tall and muscular Rajat Bedi was the king of acting notorious 24/7 in movies like Koi.. Mil Gaya, International Khiladi, and Jaani Dushman. In fact, he was so good at doing his job, that we probably couldn't have imagined a bigger jack*** than him in movies. While a lot of credit should go to his acting talent, the truth is that Rajat cut his Bollywood career short by moving to Vancouver, Canada in search of better business projects.
Rahul Khanna
Son of famous late actor turned politician Vinod Khanna and elder brother of Akshaye Khanna, Rahul Khanna had everything in the locker to make it big in Bollywood. The actor, VJ, and writer even won a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for Deepa Mehta's Earth (1999) and went on to work in a Spike Lee (director of Malcolm X, BlacKkKlansman) film 3 AM. However, Rahul suddenly decided to leave acting in films and now works as a model and an Instagram influencer. Well, to be fair to him, the good-looking actor sure does well to leave his audiences impressed with amazing photos of himself.
Sahil Khan
Remember the extremely muscular fellow alongside Sharman Joshi in the Style movie series? Yeah, well, Sahil Khan's debut was an impressive one and he was touted to have a good reign as an actor in Bollywood right after it. But he quietly left Bollywood to pursue another career outside of it, with an additional reason being nepotism. Sahil did so well that he even got featured on a Stardust cover alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
Chandrachur Singh
Chandrachur Singh played the chocolate boy/boy next door roles in hit films like Kya Kehna and Josh starring Shah Rukh Khan. I mean, just to be on a similar level like SRK in a movie is no small feat, and people really thought he'd go on to achieve more stardom in the future. However, Chandrachur too, left Bollywood suddenly as he felt he couldn't get the content-oriented films that he wanted to do. Well, he did come back to star in Disney + Hotstar's Aarya last year, and with the OTT platforms focusing on more content-oriented films, we feel he can make a good comeback if he wants to.
Deepak Tijori
The good-looking actor fared well in a lot of hit movies like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Khiladi, and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, acting with stars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Shah Rukh Khan in the process. Not a lot of people know but in starring as the villain in Jo Jeet Wohi Sikandar, he actually beat Akshay Kumar to the role. Well, with a bright future in sight, Deepak decided to take a new path and started working as a director. It's not ideally true that he left Bollywood per se, but he surely is not acting a lot now.
