A BUSINESS PROPOSAL – NETFLIX
This romantic-comedy series is based on the webtoon, The Office Blind Date by HaeHwa. It stars actor-singer Ahn Hyo-seop, actress-singer Kim Se-jeong, Kim Min-kyu, and Seol In-ah. Kang Tae-moo (Hyo-seop), CEO of Go Food, is forced to go on blind dates by his grandfather. As cliché as it sounds, unbeknownst to him, instead of the girl, he is supposed to meet, her friend, Shin Ha-ri (Se-jeong) turns up.
THE KING’S AFFECTION – VIKI RAKUTEN, NETFLIX
Starring K-pop band SF9 lead singer, Rowoon, and Park Eun-bin, this historical romance Korean drama is based on the webtoon titled Yeonmo and written by Lee So-young. It is the first South Korean drama to win International Emmy Awards as Best Telenovela. Set in the Joseon dynasty, this historical K-drama revolves around Dam-yi taking her twin brother, Crown Prince Lee Hwi’s, place after he is killed. Dam-yi was sent away from the palace to live in hiding by her mother since having twins was considered inauspicious.
TRUE BEAUTY – AMAZON PRIME, NETFLIX AND VIKI RAKUTEN
This South Korean drama is based on the webtoon of the same name penned by Yaongyi. It features the amazing trio – Moon Ga-young, Cha Eun-woo, and Hwang In-youp as main leads. This high school K-drama follows the story of Lim Ju-kyung (Ga-young) who is fighting peer pressure of looking beautiful. She is bullied due to her skin problems, which leads her to change schools.
WHAT’S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM – NETFLIX
Starring South Korean powerhouses Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young, the romantic comedy is based on the serialised webtoon Why Secretary Kim by Jung Kyung-yoon. Lee Young-joon, the vice-chairman of a major South Korean corporation, is left in a lurch when his reliable secretary of almost nine years, Kim Mi-so (Min-young), hands over her resignation. Hell-bent on not letting Mi-so leave, Young-joon employs several tactics, one of which involves wooing her romantically.
HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE – AMAZON PRIME
If you are a fan of slasher or psychotic killer tales, then this one will surely meet all your expectations. Based on the webtoon Strangers From Hell by Kim Yong-ki, this K-drama stars handsome hunks Lee Dong-wook and Im Si-wan. Yoon Jong-woo (Si-wan), while looking for a place to live in Seoul lands at the doorsteps of a cheap dormitory called Eden Studio.
YUMI’S CELLS – VIKI RAKUTEN
Based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Lee Dong-gun, Yumi’s Cells tells the tale of an ordinary woman, Yumi (Kim Go-eun), but through the eyes of her brain cells. These cells are an embodiment of every human feeling – happiness, jealousy, sadness, anger, etc. They control how Yumi reacts or doesn’t react in a particular situation. For every situation, a particular brain cell takes over. And what happens when there’s chaos inside her brain, quite literally, it’s confusion time!

This zombie apocalypse is based on the webtoon titled Not at our School by Joo Dong-geun. A school becomes ground zero for the outbreak of a virus that turns students into the living dead. The series stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Lomon, Cho Yi-hyun, Lee Yoo-mi, Yoo In-soo, Lee Kyu-hyung, Kim Byung-chul, and Jeon Bae-soo in pivotal roles and is one of the top-rated Korean dramas of 2022.

Based on the webtoon Amazing Rumor by Jang Yi, the series revolves around four demon hunters who embark on a perilous mission to free their city from evil spirits that refuse to move over to the afterlife. So Mun (Jo Byung-gyu), Ga Mo-tak (Yoo Jun-sang), Kim Se-jeong (Do Ha-na), and Choo Mae-ok (Yeom Hye-ran) are the formidable four who form an unlikely alliance with a noodle shop being as their secret headquarter.
