WHAT IS YELLOW FUNGUS?
After black fungus and white fungus, there is a new fungal infection reported, which is known as “yellow fungus.” Patients suffering from yellow fungus are lethargy, have low appetite or no appetite at all and weight loss.
HOW DOES IT AFFECT THE BODY ?
Yellow Fungus is more dangerous than Black and White Fungus as it attacks multiple organs including the lungs and the brain.
SYMPTOMS OF YELLOW FUNGUS
Lethargy, weight loss, low appetite, or no appetite at all are said to be common symptoms of yellow fungus. The Yellow fungus can lead to leakage of pus and slow healing of the open wound. It can also lead to organ failure and sunken eyes due to eventual necrosis.
WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF YELLOW FUNGUS?
The Yellow fungus can happen due to high humidity, eating old food, bad hygiene. Do not eat stale food. Disposed of old food. Do not let bacteria, fungus grow in any food items. Eat clean, freshly made food. Humidity in a closed space such as a house or office, should not be above 30-40% as high moisture environments promote the growth of fungus.
IS YELLOW FUNGUS DANGEROUS?
Ghaziabad's ENT specialist Dr BP Tyagi said that while the white fungus targets the lungs and black fungus targets the brain, yellow fungus affects both the organs. Tyagi also said that no such fungus has been found in any human being before, although it has been seen in types of animals .
