Popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg turns 48 today

Zubeen ‘Da’ celebrated his birthday with patients of Ayursundra Hospital in Guwahati He said he would pay medical bills of 5 critically ill patients

Zubeen has made musical contributions in Jollywwod, Tollywood and Bollywood. He has also sung in various other dialects like Boro, Goalpariya, Karbi, Khasi etc

He is also an expert instrumentalist. He can play 12 instruments including dhol, guitar, harmonium, table, harmonica and many more

Zubeen Garg is also a music director, composer, lyricist, script writer and film producer and director.

He shot to fame in 1992 with his Assamese album Anamika

Hindi film Gangster was his biggest break in Bollywood. His rendition of ‘Ya Ali’ in 2006 made everyone take notice of him.
