Student drowns in Desang River near Demow

DEMOW: A student drowned in Desang River in Kaibarta Dalani near Demow on Saturday. According to sources, Chandan Puri along with three friends went swimming in Desang River on Saturday afternoon and then Chandan Puri drowned in Desang River. Chandan Puri (14), son of Krishna Puri and a resident of Kaibarta Dalani near Demow and was a student of class eight. After knowing about the incident from Chandan Puri's friends the local people searched and after some time his body was recovered.
