Leopard injures two in Fatasil at Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: Two people were attacked by a wild leopard in Guwahati city in the morning of Friday. The incident took place in the Fatasil locality of Guwahati.

The two people who were injured in the leopard attack were identified as Suman Kumar Singh (a 31-year-old male) and Munair Devi (a 35-year-old female). Suman Kumar Singh was moved to a nearby private hospital but was later referred to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital, while Munair Devi was moved directly to the same medical facility.

Both victims had lacerations on various parts of their bodies as the leopard attacked them. The condition of both victims has been said to be stable, and they have been kept under observation at the Surgery Department.
