Goalpara DC felicitated for her pivotal role in battle against COVID-19

GOALPARA: The Goalpara district chapter of Sadou Akhom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) on Wednesday felicitated Goalpara Deputy Commissioner Varnali Deka for her pivotal role in leading the battle against COVID-19 while dealing with the recent flash floods at the same time. In a meeting arranged in conformity with the guidelines of COVID-19 at the DC's conference hall, Varnali Deka was feted by committee president Gyanendra Rabha, vice-president Ujjal Das, assistant secretaries Bhagadutta Nath and Nipon Das. Later, while talking to media persons, Sarat Das, State vice-president of SAKP, said, "The battle against COVID-19 is not an easy one. But our Deputy Commissioner has successfully led both the district administration as well as the health department."
